Riverhead Police reported arresting 15 people on 18 criminal charges between Sunday, Nov. 24 and Saturday, Nov. 30. A total of 431 incidents were reported by Riverhead Town Police for the week of Nov. 20, 2024. Among them:

Sunday, Nov. 24

1:11 a.m. Driving Under the Influence, Main Street, Riverhead. Mark Sims, 54, of Warrenville, South Carolina, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

3:46 a.m. Driving Under the Influence, Old Farm Road, Riverhead. Ronaldo Canel Xuya, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and held for morning arraignment.

2:32 p.m. Trespass, Hubbard Avenue, Riverhead.

2:41 p.m. Petit Larceny, Best Buy, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A petit larceny was reported. A person trespassed.

3:33 p.m. Petit Larceny, Target, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Incident documented.

4:12 p.m. Petit Larceny, Best Buy, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Incident documented.

4:29 p.m. Petit Larceny, Walmart, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Matthew Saltzman, 44, of Mastic Beach, was arrested on a charge of petit larceny.

5:14 p.m. Larceny, Tanger Outlets, West Main Street, Riverhead. A larceny of shoes was reported.

5:41 p.m. Criminal possession of stolen property, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Matthew Saltzman, 44, of Mastic, was arrested on a charge of was arrested for criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.

6:11 p.m. Domestic Incident, craft’d Bar And Grill, East Main Street, Riverhead.

6:12 p.m. Disturbance, Main Road, Riverhead.

6:19 p.m. Trespass, Peconic Bay Medical Center, Heroes Way, Riverhead. Tamara Aiken, 44, of Smithtown, was arrested on a trespassing charge.

6:46 p.m. Grand Larceny, West Main Street, Riverhead. Larceny reported at the location.

8:21 p.m. Warrant Investigation, Riverhead Police Headquarters, Howell Avenue, Riverhead. Tamara Aiken, 44, of Smithtown, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Monday, Nov. 25

7:52 a.m. Service Miscellaneous, Salvation Army, East Main Street, Riverhead. Plates reported missing.

10:59 a.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Osborn Avenue, Riverhead. A wallet was reported lost.

12:20 p.m. Arrest for Prior Reported Incident, Riverhead Town Police Department, Howell Avenue, Riverhead. Kimberly Hunter, 28, was arrested on a charge of assault in the second degree.

1:54 p.m. Disturbance, Commerce Drive, Riverhead. A police officer reports a prior disturbance.

3:47 p.m. Petit Larceny, Doctors Path, Riverhead. A petit larceny was reported.

4:26 p.m. Criminal Mischief, Scenic Lake Drive, Riverhead. Incident documented.

4:52 p.m. Criminal Mischief, TJ Maxx, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Incident documented.

5:27 p.m. Disturbance, Dunkin Donuts, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was reported trespassing on the premises.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

10:13 a.m. Trespass, Osborn Avenue, Riverhead. Wilfred Rodriguez-Tevarez, 26, of Copaigue, was arrested on a trespassing charge.

11:53 a.m. Service Miscellaneous, Walmart, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Multiple vehicles parked in the fire zone and handicap parking stalls without handicap plaques.

2:14 p.m. Identity Theft, Maple Road, Wading River. Incident documented.

3:29 p.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Aquarelle of New York Inc, Middle Road, Calverton. A complainant reported losing two New York State license plates in the Riverhead area.

4:50 p.m. Larceny – Petit Larceny, East Main Street, Riverhead. Unknown persons damaged a vehicle, entered, and removed items.

8:36 p.m. Domestic Incident, Ziemacki Lane, Riverhead. Domestic incident completed and filed.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

3:41 a.m. Town Code Investigation, Universal Multiservices, West Main Street, Riverhead. A person was residing within an abandoned structure.

8:09 a.m. Criminal – Other Offenses, Wading River Manor Road, Wading River. Oscar Salazar, 19, of Calverton, was arrested on a charge of false personation.

11:08 a.m. Arrest for Prior Reported Incident, Riverhead Town Hall, Howell Avenue, Riverhead. A juvenile male was arrested for petit larceny related to a prior reported incident.

12:15 p.m. Criminal Mischief, East Main Street, Riverhead. A person kicked the front store window causing it to crack; total damage is unknown, investigation to continue.

12:15 p.m. Town Code Violation, West Street, Riverhead. Dog found.

1:23 p.m. Property Lost or Stolen, the Country Rotisserie, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A wallet was reported lost.

2:16 p.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Atlantis Marine World, East Main Street, Riverhead. Wallet was returned to the owner.

2:48 p.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Route 25A, Wading River. Police officer reports documenting a lost or stolen property.

3:50 p.m. Petit Larceny, Little Bay Road, Wading River. At an unknown time, unknown persons removed a package off a front porch.

2:01 a.m. Domestic Incident- Criminal, East Second Street, Riverhead. Nelson Ramos Duran, 20, of Riverhead, arrested on a charge of assault.

2:39 a.m. Driving Under the Influence, Northville Turnpike, Riverhead. Darwin De Paz Javier, 32, arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

3:28 a.m. Domestic Incident- Criminal, East Second Street, Riverhead. Brenda Osorio Diaz De Lopez, 40, arrested on a charge of assault.

4:08 a.m. Driving Under the Influence, Osborn Avenue, Riverhead. Pedro Sanchez Gomez, 38, of Riverhead, arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

6:57 a.m. Domestic Incident, West Lane, Southampton Township. A domestic incident occurred, and the Southampton Police Department was notified.

9:06 a.m. Town Code Violation, LIRR – Riverhead Railroad Station, Railroad Avenue, Riverhead. A town code summons was issued.

10:50 a.m. Town Code Violation, Osborn Avenue, Riverhead. James Tobar, 32, of Riverhead, was arrested for a Town Code violation.

12:04 p.m. Petit Larceny, Scenic Lake Drive, Riverhead. Incident documented.

12:58 p.m. Town Code Investigation, Fresh Pond Avenue, Calverton. All in order.

3:00 p.m. Identity Theft, North Woods Road, Calverton. Incident documented.

5:22 p.m. Petit Larceny, Burlington, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Incident documented.

5:53 p.m. Petit Larceny, Old Country Road, Suffolk. Keneth Harriott, 51, was arrested on a charge of petit larceny.

8:35 p.m. Town Code Violation, Hy Ting Corporation, West Main Street, Riverhead. Town Code Summons issued for public urination.
