The Riverhead High School NJROTC had its annual area manager’s ceremony and inspection last week at the high school.  

The event began with a private uniform inspection at 8 a.m. at which arena Manager Commander Humphreys (USN Ret.) and the other service members who assisted with the inspection inspected and graded the cadets’ uniforms and their knowledge of the ROTC unit. 

At 10 a.m., the public ceremony began with drill teams demonstrating their routines.  

Following the ceremony, the top staff of the unit, including the battalion and company staff, as well as the department heads, reported to the classroom for a personal meeting with Humphreys, who finished out the inspection by viewing each department and the internal works to ensure everything is up to date.
