Excerpts from Riverhead Town Justice Court criminal/traffic docket for the week of Jan. 6, 2025, Justice Sean Walter presiding. There were 471 criminal and traffic cases on the court’s docket. This is a report of convictions only for misdemeanors or felonies and does not include violations, unless resulting from a charge of a misdemeanor or felony, or traffic infractions. Most felony cases are removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court for prosecution and are not included in this report.

Fernandez-Toomey, Christine L., 36, of Shirley, charged on Jan. 21, 2016 with petit larceny pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on Jan. 6 and was fined $250.

Gaches, Dylan A., 30, of Wading River, charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Aug. 8, 2023, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated on Jan. 8 and was fined 1,400.

Gonzalez-Xuya, Yeferson D., 21, of Calverton charged with driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operation and failure to maintain lane of travel on July 9, 2023, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation on Jan. 6 and was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge, a six-month license revocation and a fine of $1,700. The charge of failure to maintain lane was dismissed in satisfaction of the plea.

Hernandez, Frank, 27, of Huntington Station, charged with driving while intoxicated on Aug. 23, 2023, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated on Jan. 7, and was fined $900.

Montes-Riano, Brandon A., 23, of Brooklyn, charged with petit larceny on Aug. 25, 2024, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on Jan. 7 and was fined $250

Saban, Alex O., aka Abner Osmar Saban Chamale, 24, of Riverhead , charged with petit larceny and criminal trespass in the third degree on Oct. 24, 2024 and was fined $250.

Tyska, Bruce, 65, of Riverhead, charged with menacing in the second degree on Aug. 22, 2024, pleaded guilty on Jan. 7 and was sentenced to one year interim probation.
