Riverhead Police Chief Ed Frost will be the guest speaker at the Greater Jamesport Civic Association’s monthly meeting July 19.

“This is a great opportunity to hear from our local law enforcement leader and discuss community issues,” the civic association said in a press release.

The monthly meeting on July 19 will take place at the historic Jamesport Meeting House, beginning at 9:30 a.m. All community members are welcome to attend.

In addition, attendees are requested to bring donations of nonperishable food items. These will be donated to Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank, a crucial resource for those in need in our community.

This is a free event, and it’s a great chance to reconnect with fellow residents and stay informed about the issues affecting our communities. For more information about the Greater Jamesport Civic Association, visit the group’s website.
