The Jamesport Fire Department’s annual carnival takes place this week, Tuesday through Saturday, with a big parade on Wednesday evening and a fireworks display to close things out Saturday night.
The event offers carnival rides and games for all ages, plus food and beverages.
The carnival opens Tuesday through Friday at 6 p.m. The parade steps off on Main Road and Washington Avenue Wednesday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the carnival opens at 5 p.m. and the fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m. Saturday night.
The carnival takes place at the Town of Riverhead’s George Young Community Center field and grounds, 446 South Jamesport Avenue in Jamesport.
