Three candidates — out of six running for Town Board this year — accepted the invitation of the Greater Jamesport Civic Association to participate in a candidates forum Sept. 30 at the Jamesport Meeting House.
Questions were submitted by civic association members and other community residents, selected and read by the moderator for the evening, Greater Jamesport Civic Association Vice President Steve Green.
Participating in the forum were supervisor candidate Jerry Halpin and council candidates Mark Woolley and Kevin Shea, all of whom are running on the Democratic ticket in the general election. The Republican candidates, all incumbents, declined to participate.
