Riverhead Police have charged a Riverhead man in three commercial burglaries over the past year after an investigation by Riverhead detectives.
Riverhead Police detectives investigating two reported burglaries this month — one at East End Arts at 133 East Main Street on Oct. 6 and another at La Cascada at 1352 East Main Street on Oct. 14 — arrested Maurice Nash, 56, of Riverhead in connection with both burglaries, police said in a press release yesterday afternoon.
Riverhead Police detectives also determined that Nash previously perpetrated a burglary at Little Lucharitos at 487 Main Road in Aquebogue reported on Oct.6, 2024, according to the report.
Nash was charged with three counts of Burglary in the Third Degree, police said.
Editor’s note: A criminal charge is an accusation. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
