Riverhead High School released the 2025 roster of students recognized as AP Scholars yesterday. Ninety students received recognition overall, including 51 who graduated in June, 37 current seniors and two 11th graders.

Forty-three earned the designation of AP Scholar, granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

Nineteen students received the designation of AP Scholar with Honor, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Twenty-five students earned the designation of AP Scholar with Distinction, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Three students in the Class of 2025 were granted AP Capstone diplomas, a diploma program offered by the College Board that requires students to complete two sequential, year-long courses — AP Seminar and AP Research — and then pass four additional AP scores with a score of 3 or higher.

Below is the full list of AP Scholars and College Board recognition recipients announced by the school district.
