The Roanoke Avenue railroad crossing will be closed until about 4 p.m. for paving work by the MTA.

There will be no through-access at the crossing, which is located between Railroad Avenue and Northville Turnpike. Riverhead Town Police ask motorists to use alternate routes.

Portions of Osborn Avenue and Court Street, including the intersection of the two roads are subject to closures today and tomorrow, police said.
