Southampton Town Police report the arrest of a Wading River man for allegedly driving drunk with a suspended driver’s license.
Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of County Road 94 in Riverside Sunday for committing several traffic violations, police said in a press release Sunday evening.
An investigation revealed that the operator, Thomas C. Besch, 36, was intoxicated and that his license had been suspended several times, police said.
Besch was arrested for Driving while intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, both misdemeanors, police said. He was processed at police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, according to the report.
