Pulaski Street School’s Mini Masques’ original production, “Goldilocks and the Case of the Cheery Singing,” took the stage yesterday evening in the school auditorium. It was the first of two community performances, with the second scheduled for today at 2 p.m.
The Mini Masques performed the show twice this week for Pulaski students and staff during the school day Thursday and Friday.
“From lively musical numbers to humorous twists on familiar fairy tale characters, the performance showcased not only the students’ talent but also their confidence, creativity, and teamwork,” Riverhead Central School Superintendent Bob Hagan said in his weekly update newsletter Friday. “Opportunities like this allow our students to shine in new ways while building collaboration and communication skills,” he wrote.
“We are incredibly proud of our cast and crew for their dedication and hard work, and we thank our staff and families for supporting the arts at Pulaski,” Hagan said.
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for today’s 2 o’clock performance, which takes place in the Howard Hovey Auditorium at Pulaski Street School. General admission is $5 per person.
