Two people are facing multiple drug possession charges after a raid at an apartment in John Wesley Village Friday morning, Riverhead Town police said in a press release Friday night.
Police said the Suffolk County District Attorney’s East End Drug Task Force, Riverhead Police Department Detective Bureau, Riverhead Police COPE Unit, Riverhead Police K-9 and Suffolk County Police executed a search warrant at about 6:16 a.m. March 27 at John Wesley Village, 3 Aldersgate, Unit 2011.
Daniel McCloud, 45, and Rosa Clinton, 75, were arrested at the scene, police said.
McCloud and Clinton face identical charges, according to the press release: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, an A-II felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a B felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, an A misdemeanor; and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, an A misdemeanor, police said.

The East End Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit funded by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and includes personnel from the New York State Police, Suffolk County Police Department, Riverhead Police Department, Southampton Town Police Department, Southold Police Department, East Hampton Town Police Department and Suffolk County District Attorney investigators, according to police.
