Art exhibit

Riverhead High School art students created a 16-panel portrait of the trailblazing modern dancer Katherine Dunham for the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Portrait Project. 

The 12-foot-tall sculpture, a metal sphere clad in denim, weighs roughly half a ton and is a part of a new art exhibit titled "Harvesting Memories in Blue," by Sherry Davis of Riverhead.
