Frigid temps, blowing winds, drifting snow: ‘This one was a crippling storm’
Snow drifts of more than 7 ft. on some roads caused about 50 vehicles to become stranded and requiring rescue last night, Riverhead Highway Supt. Mike Zaleski said.
