Sheriff’s office honors the memory of three fallen officers with new K9 ‘Reis’
Yesterday, K9 Reis was formally named for fallen C.O. Andrew Reister and presented with a vest in memory of fallen NYPD Transit Police Det. George Caccavale by the Det. Brian 'Smiles' Simonsen Memorial Foundation, Blue Lives Matter K9 and Capital K9 Association.

Donations being accepted in memory of Riverhead K9 Officer ‘Rocky,’ who was killed in the line of duty on Sept. 2
Donations will fund the acquisition, training and maintenance of a new K9 officer for the Riverhead Town Police Department, the town supervisor said.
