The 563-unit, manufactured home senior community in Riverhead is the third purchased by the Chicago-based company in New York State —all in Riverhead Town — since 2011.

The "Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act of 2019" is an omnibus affordable housing and rent regulations bill that provides protections for manufactured home residents, including a legal remedy for unreasonable rent increases.
