LIRR plans to shuffle schedule, add trains on Greenport branch
The little-used "jury train" will be "repurposed" a LIRR official said in an interview yesterday. It will arrive in Riverhead earlier and continue on to Greenport, making a westbound return trip departing Greenport at 10 a.m. Two new trains are planned for weekends beginning in the summer of 2018.
