The MTA is working on the LIRR grade crossing at Roanoke Avenue. Work is expected to continue through 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Riverhead Police said in a press release.
While work is ongoing, there will be no through-access across the Roanoke Avenue crossing. Police encourages drivers to plan ahead and use an alternate route.
