Riverhead Ambulance District

Riverhead granted Riverhead Ambulance District exemptions to various zoning code requirements, including site plan approval, for the construction of a new headquarters on Osborn Avenue.

RVAC invites the public to an open house to see and discuss plans for a new 16,600-sq. ft. building to provide adequate facilities for its staff of 150 professionals — including 110 volunteers — its emergency vehicles, equipment and supplies.

The Riverhead Ambulance District's communications equipment supplier got the communication system up and running this afternoon with a loaner repeater to replace the one that failed last week.
