Riverhead cheerleaders will head to nationals after placing first in regional competition Saturday
Riverhead Varsity Cheerleading will once again head to Florida this spring for the National High School Cheerleading Championship after they placed first at a regional competition Saturday.

For second time in school history, Riverhead cheerleaders make it to national semi-finals
Last year was the first time Riverhead Cheerleading ever made as far as the semi-finals, but after nine of the team’s 12 cheerleaders graduated in May 2015, the team had to start from the ground-up in September.
