Riverhead High School Class of 2020

Heidi's Helping Angels presented Heidi Behr Memorial Scholarships to five members of the Riverhead High School Class of 2020 yesterday: Jessica Murgolo, Megan McIntosh, Kate Chapman, Caleigh Cantalupo and Elizabeth Buckley, pictured here with with Heidi Behr's parents, John and June Behr.

The virtual format, while so different from the typical ceremony on the football field, in front of bleachers packed with cheering family members and friends, had a special charm — a unique intimacy that set it apart from the electric environment of past graduations. Most everything about last night's ceremony was up close and personal.

Every member of the Riverhead High School Class of 2020 has a blue-and-white lawn signs, thanks to the efforts of an Aquebogue mom and a local sign-maker.
