Roanoke Avenue

Paving on Roanoke Avenue will begin next week and will be completed in five or six days, according to a manager with the contracting firm doing the job for Suffolk County.

Suffolk County contractors are scheduled to begin the final phase of road reconstruction work on the Roanoke Avenue project tomorrow, with milling the road surface and laying new pavement, starting with the section between Main Street and the Long Island Railroad tracks and moving north from there.

The Roanoke Avenue resurfacing project, originally scheduled to be completed by the early part of this year, is now projected to be finished by the end of this month.
