The Blue Masques are back with a jam-packed weekend of performances of their latest show, Shrek the Musical.

Jesse Goodale and Roy Vazquez star as Shrek, a lovable ogre fighting to save his home: the swamp. In order to do so, he is sent on a mission by Lord Farquaad, played by Alex Bowe and Billy Pasciutti. His quest to save Princess Fiona, a girl who has spent her life trapped in a tower, who is portrayed by Ella Baldwin and Megan Brunner and wishes for nothing more than to be rescued by her prince. Shrek finds a faithful sidekick and unlikely friend in Donkey, played by Kierra Prentiss and Cesar Flores.

Opening night will be Friday at 7 p.m., followed by two performances on Saturday (2 and 7 p.m.) and a Sunday matinee (2 p.m.).

Book written by David Lindsay-Abaire and songs by Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Milly).

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.
