The East End Jewish Community Council is sponsoring a multi-faith event in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day on Sunday, May 15 from 2 -4 p.m. at Temple Israel of Riverhead.
Local clergy and the Jus B’ Cuz choir will participate in the ceremony which features a memorial candle lighting. Reverand Tom LaMothe will share the story of his decision to learn Yiddish.
Admission is free, but free-will donations are gladly accepted. Refreshments will be served.
