Three Riverhead men are facing drug charges after a raid on a Horton Avenue house Friday morning.
East End Drug Task Force, Riverhead Police and a Suffolk County Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at 210 Horton Avenue in Riverhead Friday and recovered marijuana, MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine), known as ecstasy, a scale and a quantity of cash, according to a Riverhead Police press release.
The search was the result of an ongoing investigation into drug sales in the Riverhead area, according to the report.
Police said they arrested three residents of the house: Andre Williams, 37, charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the third degree, a class E felony; Antonio Williams, 39, charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor; and Tyree Dawson, 24, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Editor’s note: A criminal charge is an accusation. By law, a person charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
