A Manorville man is facing multiple felony charges in connection with a marijuana-growing operation, according to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office.

Donald Guichard

Donald Guichard, 57, had more than 100 marijuana plants growing in a subterranean grow house on a wooded lot in Manorville, in addition to harvested marijuana in various stages of drying, totaling more than 30 pounds, the sheriff’s office said. The grow house was covered by a utility storage building, according to a press release.

The arrest resulted from a month-long investigation that culminated in the Sept. 19 execution of a search warrant, the sheriff’s office said.

Guichard was charged with criminal sale of marijuana in the first degree, a class C felony, criminal possession of a weapon, and other offenses, according to the press release. He is being held at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
