Riverhead Town Board appointed three new police officers, a new town board coordinator and a new building inspector at a special town board meeting Thursday morning.
The three police officers – Allison Doscinski, James Treadwell and Karli Wimmer – were chosen from the county civil service list following extensive background checks and personal interviews.
The new town board coordinator, Karen Levasseur, will replace former board coordinator Carissa Collins, who was appointed to the position in 2013.
Collins was appointed today to the town’s department of land management as a senior administrative assistant after qualifying for the position with the county civil service test.
The new building inspector, Michael Inghingolo Jr., was also chosen from the county’s civil service list. He will begin serving as building inspector on November 13.
