A Wading River woman is facing weapons and menacing charges after threatening a neighbor with a loaded shotgun last night.
Police said Iris D. Catana, 63, made verbal threats while pointing a shotgun at her neighbor in the Ramblewood Mobile Home Park last night shortly after 8 p.m.
Responding officers found Catana in possession of a loaded double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun.
She was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and menacing in the second degree, both class A misdemeanors.
Catano was processed at the Riverhead Police Department and held pending morning arraignment.
