Riverhead PAL football and cheerleader registrants must attend one of the two in-person uniform try on dates in order to participate in the sports this fall.
Football players can attend either Tuesday, May 8 or May 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Senior Citizen Human Resource Center,
60 Shade Tree Lane, Aquebogue.
Football players aged 7 to 13 by November 15, 2018 can register in person, by mail or.online. If players choose to register online, please attend the “try-on uniform” registration night first, then bring the registration form home with correct uniform size. The registration deadline for football players is May 24, 2018.
Cheerleaders entering grades 2 to 6 in September are eligible to register for the sport. Applicants must register at one of the in-person registration nights. The deadline for cheerleading registration is May 15. First come, first served.
Practices begin Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Stotzky Park in Riverhead starting July 10 through the summer and continuing through the fall. Games start September 9 through November 11 on Sundays at fields in Riverhead and surrounding communities.
