Riverhead’s Polish Town will transform into a sea of red and white this weekend for two days of polka music, dancing and Polish cuisine at the 44th annual Polish Town Street Fair.

The popular street festival features a sprawling marketplace spanning several blocks in Polish Town USA, where vendors from across the region peddle a wide assortment of goods at hundreds of booths.

Polish food and beer will be available for purchase alongside a variety of other cuisines from food trucks and vendor stalls.

The annual fair also includes performances from Polish dancers and musicians, along with a reenactment of a traditional Polish wedding following a Polish Mass at Saint Isidore’s Roman Catholic Church Saturday morning.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

A Polka Dance Festival takes place Saturday night, featuring live polka bands Mike Costa & The Beat and Middlesex Express & Polka Method. Admission to the dance festival costs $13 for adults and $8 for children under 12. It takes place from 5 to 11 p.m. under the pavilion at Polonaise Park on Lincoln Street.
