Riverhead Police are searching for the person who damaged a volunteer firefighter’s personal vehicle while it was parked outside Riverhead Fire Department headquarters on Roanoke Avenue after midnight on Sept. 29.
The unknown person did extensive damage to the firefighter’s 2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck with a baseball bat. The person then left the area in an unknown direction.
The act was caught on a surveillance video camera at the firehouse, police said.
