If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work as a police officer, you have a chance to experience it yourself by signing up for the civilian police academy offered by the Southampton Town Police Department starting in January.
The academy will run for 14 weeks, one night per week, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 23. Enrollment is limited to Southampton Town residents, but may be opened to nonresidents if space permits.

You will receive a short application form which must be completed and submitted to the Southampton Police Department on or before Dec. 21.
