Police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who damaged a pickup truck parked outside Riverhead Fire Department headquarters on Sept. 29.

Police released surveillance camera images of the person who used a baseball bat to damage a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck parked outside the fire department on Roanoke Avenue at 12:30 a.m. that day.

Riverhead Town Police on Oct. 2 released surveillance video of the incident. At the time, police said the pickup truck was a volunteer firefighter’s personal vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.

All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
