A 16-year-old boy is facing a felony criminal mischief charge after breaking numerous windows and the windshields of two vehicles at Little Flower Children’s Services in Wading River Friday evening, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Police said they were called to the Little Flower campus for a disturbance involving a resident damaging Little Flower property.
Responding officers observed the boy breaking numerous windows of Little Flower residential and school buildings as well as the windshields of two Little Flower-owned vehicles, according to a police press release. Riverhead Police detectives responded to assist in the investigation.
The 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a Class D felony, police said. He was transported to Riverhead Police Department headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment.
