Update-Sept. 26: Nasir Scruggs, reported missing on Saturday, has been located, police said Sunday.
Original post: Riverhead Police are asking the public’s help to locate a missing runaway teen who left Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch on Middle Road early this morning.
Police said Nasir Scruggs, 16, left the facility without permission and on his own today at 1:39 a.m.
He is described by police as a black male, 5’10” tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, black hair in braids. The police received no description of the clothing he was wearing, according to the report. His destination was unknown, police said, and no foul play is suspected.
