Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are asking the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead store in June.

Police said the suspect stole merchandise valued at approximately $500 from Lowes, located at 1461 Old Country Road, on June 6.

Police released the above surveillance camera image of the suspect wanted in connection with the theft.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, via the P3 Tips app, or online at www.P3Tips.com.

All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
