Holiday celebrations continue in downtown Riverhead tomorrow afternoon with the Lion’s Club 70th Annual Christmas Parade, followed by a roaring bonfire on the Peconic Riverfront featuring caroling, holiday music by DJ Phil, free hot cocoa and candy canes and a chance for the kids to visit with Santa Claus in his gingerbread house.

Mostly sunny skies and brisk temperatures are in the forecast tomorrow — perfect weather for a Christmas parade and bonfire, which are sure to kindle your holiday spirit.

The parade steps off at 3 p.m. on West Main Street and Osborn Avenue and continues east on Main Street to the town square, where the town’s 18-foot blue spruce is decked out with a thousand colorful lights and giant ornaments. After the parade passes by, take a stroll through the town square to the riverfront bonfire and Santa’s gingerbread house.
