North Fork Community Theatre presents the comedy “Ripcord” from Jan. 20 to Feb. 5 at the theater in Mattituck.

David Lindsay-Abaire’s comedy tells the story of cranky Abby forced to share a room with the newest member of Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, chipper Marilyn. The two place a bet that escalates into a dangerous competition that reveals truths both roommates wish to remain hidden.

Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased by visiting the North Fork Community Theater website. Performances will be held on Friday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2:30 p.m.
