Robert T. Clements of Laurel died on June 2, 2023. He was 83 years old.
Born on June 14, 1939, in Elmont, New York, he attended Sawanaka High School. He later served in the United States Army and had a tenured career on Wall Street. His family said he was a man with tremendous passion for his family, friends, faith, and country. He enjoyed golfing and volunteering at Island Harvest.
He was predeceased by his brother John “Buddy” Clements and his daughter Jane Clements Webster. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nina; children Christopher (Beatrice) Clements, Jennifer Montanaro, and Amy (Matt) Macaluso; siblings Steven and Richard Clements; and grandchildren Alex, Christopher, Max, Jillian, Isabelle, Olivia, Anna, Macie, Charlie, and Jack.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Mattituck, New York, on Tuesday, June 6 at 11 a.m. DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to T2T.org.
