Police are investigating an armed robbery yesterday on Doctors Path.

The victim, a 23-year old Riverhead resident, reported being mugged by two men, one of which menaced the victim with a machete, Monday night on Doctors Path, Riverhead Town Police said in a press release Tuesday morning. The assailants made off with the victim’s wallet, police said.

Police responded to the area of 117 Doctors Path at 7:25 p.m. Monday after a call reported a robbery that just occurred.
