Applications are available for the purchase and dedication of a cherry blossom tree for Veterans Memorial Park in Calverton.

The cherry blossom tree program offers the opportunity to purchase a 6-foot tall cherry blossom tree dedicated to a beloved veteran whose name will be displayed on a 12-inch by 6-inch plaque.

The cost of the tree and plaque is $675, which includes planting and maintenance.
