Susan K. Herzog of Calverton died on Aug. 11, 2024, at Acadia Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Riverhead. She was 69 years old.
Born on May 8, 1955, in Riverhead to Frank and Marian (Jackewicz) Klodaski, she graduated from Riverhead High School in 1973. She was a teacher’s aide in the Riverhead Central School District.
Her family said she will be remembered for her love of the beach, her grandchildren, gardening and cooking.
Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her partner, Richard Sell of Calverton, her brother Frank Klodaski Jr., of Calverton and her child, son Geoffrey (Addie) of Calverton. She was also a proud grandmother to Keegan and Makenna. The family has chosen to remember her life privately at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
