Southampton Town Police report the arrest of a Flanders man on menacing and weapon charges after a fight outside a deli on Flanders Road Sunday.
Police said officers responded to a 911 call about a physical dispute in the parking lot of Torito Chapin Deli & Grocery at 669 Flanders Road at about 4:40 p.m. Sunday.
Andres Ramos-Calyecatl, 24, was involved in an altercation with another person during which Ramos-Calyecatl displayed a knife and physically threatened the other person, police said in a press release last night.
Ramos-Calyecatl was arrested and transported to Southampton Town Police Department headquarters for arrest processing and was held overnight for arraignment in Southampton Town Justice Court Monday morning, police said.
Ramos-Calyecatl was charged with Menacing in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the , a misdemeanor, according to the report.
