The Southampton Town Police Department is taking applications for its 2026 Civilian Police Academy.

A Flanders man was charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an incident without reporting following a crash at the intersection of Flanders Road and Cypress Avenue Tuesday night, Southampton Town Police said.

An East End Drug Task Force investigation followed numerous community complaints about foot traffic in the area of the defendant's home, according to a police press release.

One of the injured was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital and four others were transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center, police said.

The Southampton Town Police Department today announced the arrests of two Farmingville residents in connection with an armed robbery in Flanders in September. Police charged Demario L. Police said Andres Ramos-Calyecatl, 24,  pulled a knife on another person during a fight outside Torito Chapin Deli & Grocery on Flanders Road Sunday afternoon.

A motorcyclist died after crashing into the woods on County Road 51 late last night, Southampton Town Police said.
