Riverhead Police officers apprehended a youth inside a Wading River restaurant just before 1 a.m. Monday after the restaurant manager called 911 to report an unknown male had entered the premises, according to a police press release.
Police patrol and K9 units responded to La Plage Restaurant at 131 Creek Rd., Wading River, and located a 16-year-old male inside, police said in the press release. Police arrested the teen on a charge of Burglary in the Third Degree. He was processed and released on a desk appearance ticket, police said.
