Riverhead Police reported arresting 13 people, including one juvenile, on 14 criminal charges between Sunday, Dec. 22 and Saturday, Dec. 28. Among the charges filed were one assault charge, one aggravated driving while intoxicated charge, one driving while ability impaired charge, four petit larceny charges, three trespassing charges, one harassment charge, one town code violation, and one arrest on an outstanding warrant. A total of 424 incidents were reported by Riverhead Town Police for the week. Below is an excerpt of reported incidents and all reported arrests for this period.
Sunday, Dec. 22
10:15 a.m. Domestic Incident, Delores Avenue, Riverhead. A male juvenile was arrested. Domestic incident report completed.
11:15 a.m. Town Code Violation, Long Island Rail Road Riverhead Station, Railroad Avenue, Riverhead. Summons issued for violation of town code 247-3.
11:40 a.m. Petit Larceny, Walmart, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Sherry Nucci, 44, of Riverhead, was arrested one one count of petit larceny, processed and released on a desk appearance ticket.
2:11 p.m. Warrant Investigation, Riverhead Town Hall, Howell Avenue, Riverhead. Demeshia Legros, 23, of Flanders was arrested on an active Riverhead Town Justice Court warrant.
3:14 p.m. Suspicious Person, Tanger Outlets, 1770 West Main Street, Riverhead. Police report of larceny.
4:27 p.m. Fire investigation, Church Lane and Tuthills Lane, Riverhead. Jamesport Fire Department extinguished the fire without incident.
4:28 p.m. Grand Larceny, Tanger Outlets, 1770 West Main Street, Suite 400, Riverhead. Police report of grand larceny.
4:49 p.m. Petit Larceny, Tanger Outlets, 1770 West Main Street, Suite 400, Riverhead. Larceny reported.
7:16 p.m. Disturbance, Peconic Bay Medical Center, Heroes Way, Riverhead. A person was escorted from the premises.
7:48 p.m. Criminal Trespass, Universal Multiservices, 305 West Main Street, Riverhead. Nicholas Berg, 39, of Riverhead, was arrested for criminal trespass.
7:50 p.m. Criminal Trespass 3rd, Universal Multiservices, West Main Street, Riverhead. Kari Reid, 44, of Riverhead, was arrested for criminal trespass in the third degree.
8:25 p.m. Stolen Vehicle, Oscars Deli, Pulaski Street, Riverhead. Police report a stolen vehicle.
10:42 p.m. Criminal Contempt and Aggravated Harassment, Walmart, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A criminal contempt and aggravated harassment complaint is under investigation.
Monday, Dec. 23
10:46 a.m. Trespass, Target, 1150 Old Country Road, Riverhead. Jessica Ortega, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested for trespass.
11:54 a.m. Identity Theft, Hickory Court, Wading River. An unknown person used the complainant’s personal information to file for unemployment through the Department of Labor.
