Erase Racism

ERASE Racism is holding anti-racist trainings in Riverhead in the hopes of teaching community members about racism and how to have conversations surrounding race and diversity.

Are we ready to look racism in the eye — by looking in the mirror? Do we really understand how things got to be the way they are? And are we willing to change them? Riverhead hosted one of five forums held across the island by ERASE Racism for people to discuss how racism hurts everyone and how we can overcome it.

The forum, “How Do We Build a Just Long Island?,” will bring together people from diverse communities for conversations to help understand our differences and recognize our similarities.
