Halloween Festival

Downtown Riverhead was seething with ghouls and ghastly creatures of the night for the fourth annual Halloween Parade last night. Photo slideshow by John Neely.

The Halloween costume parade will feature cash prizes for first, second and third place winners and the weekend events for the first time will include coffin races.

Hundreds of people lined Main Street for a big Halloween parade featuring zombie dancers, spooky floats, monsters, witches, ghosts, a hearse with a skeleton behind the wheel and more. Photos and video.
