Riverhead will hold a public forum Wednesday at Town Hall on a Suffolk County Water Authority pipeline that would run through the town.

The Suffolk County Water Authority is moving ahead with plans for a new water main through the Riverhead Town to deliver drinking water to its customers in Southold. The revised route along Sound Avenue concerns Riverhead officials worried about traffic on the high-volume road.
