Scholar-athletes

The Riverhead school board at its April 21 meeting approved financing for its energy performance contract and announced a new Roanoke Elementary principal.

Riverhead High School has been named a 2019-2020 Scholar-Athlete School of Excellence by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. It is one of 15 Suffolk schools to receive that honor.

Riverhead celebrated the signing of five students with Division I or II colleges on Friday. All will be receiving athletic/academic scholarships to their colleges.
